If your first consultation doesn't give you clarity on next steps, your next session is on us.

I wasn't sure what to expect. The sessions gave me space to actually understand what I was feeling, not just cope with it. That made a real difference to how I manage day to day.

About counselling sessions

What happens in a counselling session?

A first session is 50 minutes. It is a confidential space to talk about what you are experiencing, stress, low mood, difficult transitions, or feeling overwhelmed. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with. Sessions are led by you.

What is the difference between counselling and life coaching?

Counselling focuses on understanding and processing what you are experiencing, including difficult emotions and past experiences. Life coaching is forward-focused, working on goals and removing obstacles. Both are available here, and some clients benefit from both.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed number. Some people find clarity in a small number of sessions. Others benefit from ongoing support over a longer period. Sessions are reviewed as you go. The approach is led by what you need, not a predetermined programme.

Do I need a GP referral for counselling?

No referral is needed. You can book directly. A free 15-minute discovery call is available first if you want to speak briefly before committing to a full session.
